Hola amigos... Hoy les voy a describir como sentí la Ciudad de San Agustin este fin de semana... espero les guste y si ustedes han estado por allá también, porfavor compartan su experiencia conmigo dejando un comentario aquí debajo ;)


Saint Augustine is a beautiful, romantic and kind of mysterious city; located on the northeaster side of Florida, U.S.A. One of the most popular spots visited by tourist all over United States the whole year because o her historical roll played since 1565 when Mr. Pedro Menendez de Aviles founded.

San Agustin es una hermosisima ciudad, romántica y a la vez misteriosa; esta ubicada en la parte noreste del estado de la Florida, Estados Unidos. también es conocida como uno de los puntos mas atractivos para el turismo de este país.



St. Augustine Is one of the oldest cities in America and was a Spanish colony for a long period; explored by Juan Ponce de Leon (PR governor) after that, many other empires were fighting for this territory.///  All this details about their history is just to give you an idea why they have this mix of styles in their city and a rich culture.

San Agustin es una de la ciudades mas antigua de las Americas y fue Colonia Española por un largo periodo; explorada por Juan Ponce de Leon (Gobernador de PR) y después de esto otras grandes potencias de la época pelearon por adueñarse del entonces territorio español. Estos detalles históricos es para darles una vista general del por que se da esa mezcla cultural y arquitectónica de esta ciudad de tan rica cultura.

Walking down at Old City of St. Augustine i felt amazed by their architectural blend of styles from Spain, Arabic and British influenced. Their Spanish colonial era is well marked, it reminds me my colonial City of "Santiago de los 30 Caballeros" at Dominican Republic with their open balconies and bright colors from the 19th century architecture. Because of all these mixture and beauty; this city is a very popular travel destination.

Al caminar en la antigua ciudad de San Agustin me asombró la mezcla que tienen de diferentes estilos arquitectónicos con un claro predominio de la influencia española del siglo XVIV pero también existe un toque árabe y británico bien marcado en sus amplios balcones, casa de brillantes colores y las terminaciones detalladas de cada edificación. En un momento me traslade mentalmente a mi amada ciudad de Santiago de los 30 caballeros en República Dominica. Debido a esta marcada belleza, la ciudad resulta ser un punto turístico mas que atractivo y popularmente visitado.

DO IT YOURSELF:


SELECT AN ORIGINAL THEME AND A LOVELY COLOR YOU WANT THAT PREDOMINATES ON YOUR BABY’S BEDROOM DEKOR, AFTER THAT I RECOMMEND YOU MAKE SURE YOUR SURFACE IS PERFECTLY CLEAN AND NEAT. IF THE SURFACE YOU WOULD BE WORKING ON HAS A DARK COLOR ON IT, YOU WOULD HAVE TO USE WHITE BASE PAINT (FREE OF LEAD AND ODOR AS WELL) LET IT DRY AND NEXT DAY PAINT IT WITH YOU FAVORITE COLOR (MINE WAS PALE APPLE GREEN). AFTER YOU HAVE YOUR MAIN COLOR DONE GO FOR THE DETAILS, ON THIS DECORATION I ALSO MADE A CUTE SHAPE ON THE CRIB WALL WITH SWEET PINK COLOR AND A EASY ROUNDED SHAPE TO MAKE WITH SCISSORS AND PAPER; STICK THAT TO THE WALL WITH TAPE AND THEN PAINT IT FROM THE BOTTOM TO THE TOP, FINISH THE CEILING LINE WITH THE BRUSHES APPLYING SAME COLOR USED FOR THE SHAPE . YOU CAN FINISH YOUR BABY PR♥JET WITH DETAILS AND NICE FRAMES ACCORDINGLY COMBINED WITH YOUR THEME AND COLORS. LOOK AT THE DETAILS ON THE LAMPS AND FRAMES WITH LITTLE BOWS AND MY BABY INITIALS.

 

THIS SIDE OF THE HOUSE ENDED UP TO BE A FAVORITE PLACE FOR EVERYONE IN THE HOUSE. SWEET AND CUTE AS A BABY!!!

ART WALL AFFAIR

Have you realized that this technique has been used forever every where and always gives you a sense of homey feeling? but more than nothing pick your eye and curiosity. I don't know why but it happens to me!!!

Te has dado cuenta de que esta técnica se ha utilizado siempre en todas partes y cada vez te da una sensación de que estas en casa? Pero más que nada capta tu vista y despierta tu curiosidad. No sé por qué, pero a mi me pasa!

 

Today I want to share with you this pictures I've found online and supports my point here, look how this restaurant has a touch of elegance because of the wall background color and gold pictures frame. Their bone colored ceiling and chandelier is what gives a bright balance to this space.

Hoy quiero compartir contigo estas fotos que he encontrado en línea, las cuales corroboran el punto aqui expuesto, mira en esta foto de restaurant, tiene un toque de elegancia a causa del color de fondo de la pared y el contraste causado por los marcos color oro. Su techo color hueso y la lampara de techo central  le da el balance deseado a este espacio.

 

 

The "wall art" technique can be adjusted to every styles and taste... EVERYBODY (TG) has their own style; which is the main subject you would have to keep in mind when you want to personalize a corner of your home. For example, below you can see a picture of a modern- classic house. I personally love the mixture they have achieved on this kitchen. This area has a lilt of everything, they keep it simple everything white + W&B floor with a touch of color on the wall paints and details.

Esta tecnica de utilizar "arte en las paredes" se puede ajustar facilmente a cada estilo y gusto ... Todos (gracias a DIOS) tenemos nuestros estilo unico y propio, lo que resulta ser algo primordial al momento de querer personalizar un rincóncito de nuestro hogar. Por ejemplo, a continuación se puede ver esta imagen  de una cocina con un estilo moderna-clásica. Personalmente me encanta la mezcla que han logrado en este espacio ya que es poco comun ver arte en la cocina. Esta área tiene una cadencia de todo, bien sencillo todo blanco + pisos B&N con un toque de color en el arte colgado en la pared  de manera cimetrica mas los detalles en la mesa.

 

 

As you can see on the following living rooms pictures, they don't display family pictures at all. I'm on the team of keeping off your memories out of public display, not everybody wants to see your baby photo on a basket with your mouth full of cornflakes. Family pictures are better display on a hallway or family room. Why? to me, because in the living room what you wants to show up is your taste not your time line.

Como puedes ver en las siguientes salas de estar, no se muestran fotos de la familia en absoluto. Personalmente soy partidaria de mantener los recuerdos fuera de la exposición a todo público, no todo el mundo quiere ver tu foto de bebé en una cesta con la boca llena de confle' (como decimos en buen dominicano) las fotos familiares estan major ubicadas en un pasillo o sala de estar en donde entra o camina gente mas allegada a ti y la familia. ¿Por qué? para mí, porque en la sala de estar es donde quieres mostrar tu buen gusto no tu línea de tiempo.

 

 

 

My last recommendation for Wall Art is to look around for fabrics patterns, favorite artist paints, landscape photos you love, phrase, poems fragments, letters, even pieces of clothe you wont forget that day you used it. Make sure you display things and images you really love!

 

At the end of the day you will be proud of your own life and the way have been living it<3
